In the previous report, I stated that the winner of
Korea v. Portugal would win the group unless U.S.
beats Poland by 3 goals. That is not correct. Portugal
stands a point behind Korea and the U.S., so if
Portugal beats Korea AND the U.S. wins by ANY score,
even by a fraction of a goal, the U.S. would be group
winner. If the U.S. ties Poland, the winner of Korea
v. Portugal is group winner. If Korea beats Portugal,
Korea is group winner, UNLESS the U.S. beats Poland by
at least 3 goals.
